When should you change your tires?

When it comes to punctured tires, they can still be used until the tread starts to tear up and the belts are exposed. When the vehicle is used every day, expect tears to show up in the tires eventually. Should you purchase new or used tires?
There is always this dilemma for car owners if they should purchase new or used tires. The purchase will depend on a few factors: price, durability, and warranty. Used tires cost around $20 to $160 while new tires cost around $50 to $200. New tires are mostly bought in auto dealers and authorized tire shops.
When it comes durability, new tires are obviously the better option. New tires can last up to four years. Used tires, on the other hand, may last for up to two years or even a few months depending on its previous usage. You can’t expect a used tire that has been used for three years to last for three more years. In terms of warranty meanwhile, warranty for new tires is a given but there are shops that offer warranty for used tires.
